Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Game changer
I learned about this brand from an Irish van lifer couple (Philly&Keely “Chapter by Chapter”) I follow on You Tube. I have FLAT feet and rarely can find a shoe that works for me especially as I have gotten older. I used to love my Chaco’s but unfortunately even those have begun to hurt my feet. I’ve tried the five finger barefoot shoes in the past and those were so great but I hated the way they looked. Though Philly and Keely are not sponsored by Lems(THEY SHOULD BE) they talk about how much they love these shoes. They love how they feel so grounded , how their feet don’t suffer and how they can hike for hours and not feel the fatigue they feel with other shoes. So, I took the bait and ordered a pair of sandals since I live in Texas and wear sandals most of the year. I also ordered some boots for work. I wore the sandals to the beach and I walked all over the place in and out of the water and man did my feet feel great. I have not even glanced at my other pair of work boots since slipping on the boots I purchased from Lems. I am in love love LOVE with Lems. If you are on the fence because you have been jaded by so many shoe companies touting their “comfortable” walking shoes/boots/sandals then jump yourself off, stop delaying and get yourself a pair of Lems.

great hiking shoe
I wasn't sure about these at first, the strap going between the toe took some getting used to, especially going down hill. I had to experiment to find the right tightness I needed for the strap, and stuck to it. I soon loved them for all day wear. When I cleaned them up, they were even cute enough to wear with a skirt.
