PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

OILED LEATHER UPPER
We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE
Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

My Fave Boots
Figured this year would be the year I finally invest in a nice pair of waterproof boots- and these are IT! Very comfortable after a week long breaking them in. And versatile. I wear them to work, I wear them hiking, I wear them while doing yard work. Love em. My only heads up for other shoppers; they don’t have the most robust grip. So if you are not sure footed or would like a more gripping sole, you might have to look elsewhere. Also- size up. I’m an 8, got an 8.5 and could see myself wearing a size 9 easy.

The Boulder boot.
So far for walking it’s been great! My only complaints are the difficulty it takes to put on and take off. Maybe that just because of my foot? I’m using very thing socks too. Not sure what im gonna do when it comes time to do actual hiking. And the laces come undone so easily. Any suggestions to make either of this less annoying are welcome.

Beautiful boots but expect some time needed to break them in!
I love my boots! The only issue is where the tongue is sewn in and where the pull is sewn in the back of the boot it is very uncomfortable and needs, softened and stretched. Other than those two items I love my boots very much.
