This boot still maintains the lightweight frame you’ve come to know and love from Lems — even though we’ve added a unique waterproof membrane, these puppies will still hit the scale at a featherlight 12.9oz.

We also took some time to rethink the overall construction of this boot, and reinforced everything; from a thicker gauge thread to an overall stronger outer construction. And yes, before you ask, they’re zero-drop. Ready to roll through a river, plow through an ice pack, or anything else on your agenda? Good, because so are our Waterproof Boulder Boots, which keep your feet shockingly clear from clammy conditions due to a breathable waterproof membrane that stops water from penetrating into the boot, while still allowing the heat from your feet to escape. This kind-of-a-big-deal boot also utilizes a pre-treated leather upper, that can be reapplied with waterproofing wax/spray to help extend its water repellency.

The Waterproof Boulder Boot is the one shoe that does it all without ever missing a step. You can easily pack it, but you’ll also feel good wearing it everywhere, everyday. And just so you know — this boot was designed with an incredible amount of detail and care, and we can’t wait to see where you go in it.

We recommend ordering your usual EU size.

If you’re unsure, please use the cm guide above.

Important: the insole length should be slightly longer than your foot — around 1 cm of extra space for natural movement.

For example: If your foot measures 25 cm, choose an insole length of approximately 26 cm.

WATERPROOF

Rain or sun, we’re ready. Not only can you skip along streams and keep your toes dry, you can up the ante on where your travel takes you this winter, thanks to your new favorite pair, complete with a gusseted tongue.

OILED LEATHER UPPER

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

    Handsome and light

Can't believe they stopped making these! I think I got the last one online in my size, and I'm so glad I did. I tried on a few of the other models in store but the soles were too thick for what I was looking for, as I was after more of a travel boot. These feel much more minimalist, light, and flexible!

    Great, Comfortable Boots

These boots fit so comfortably the first time I put them on. There was no need to break them in, but now that they are broken in, they are even more maneuverable and enjoyable to wear. I’ve worn them every day since my purchase and intend to wear them until they fall apart. Sad to see they are discontinued to be honest.

    Good with some minor issues

I'm one of those folks who will modify shoes like this to dial them in for my needs. So far I haven't had to do that, but it's probably coming after wearing them pretty much nonstop for three weeks. First, the pros. These shoes are well built from quality materials and should last a long time, even after they're "worn out". I think they look good new and will look even better once they're broken in, scratched and scuffed, and dried a few times after getting wet. The wide toe box has become really important to me over the last few years (I'm 62 at this writing), and the zero-drop design plus the materials make this a solid shoe for some basic outdoor experiences, yet fashionable for indoor and even some work environments. It's not a hiking orca construction boot, but could easily get around for a bit in those environments.

The cons are minimal, but notable. The boots require complete loosening of the laces to get on and even then I sometimes feel like I'm going to break the heel loop. They're a little tight behind and above the toe box, making them more comfortable to wear untied and loose-laced. Speaking of laces, they are essentially paracord which is rugged, but they don't seem to hold knots well and loosen over time unless I double-knot them. So another reason to wear them loose. That looks great with jeans or shorts, but won't work so well at the office or when walking distances. I would also have preferred the welt to be sewn (Goodyear?) rather than glued. I suspect…
