Toe Box Too Narrow, Laces Too Short

These boots are attractive and very well constructed. They're obviously high quality. I wore them around my house a good bit before deciding to keep them. Unfortunately, hiking in them has not been pleasant. Walking around the house is one thing; hiking on a rugged, steep trail is another. The toe box is definitely too narrow. After four miles, the sides of my feet were rubbed sore, and my feet still hurt two days later from being "scrunched" up. A larger size would not have helped. I appreciate the zero drop of these boots, but they're not a true barefoot, foot-shaped design. Unfortunately, waterproof barefoot boots are hard to find, and I'll probably be stuck with these on my Kilimanjaro climb. Other reviewers are correct that laces are too short and will need to be replaced.

    These shoes ruined me.

Because now I can't buy any other pair of hiking boots!!

Hands down, the comfiest and most easygoing pair of hiking boots I've ever had. No need to break them in, I ordered them half a size up. My feet feel great after and so do my knees!

I bought these for a four-night long festival, delivery was less than a week and I got them in the mail two days before leaving for the festival. I wore them around for one day, but was immediately comfortable the moment I put them on.

Normally I'd wear my other hiking boots or combat boots for dancing all night and walking miles across a festival and NEVER AGAIN will I do that. These boots are GAME-CHANGING. I'm writing in all caps because it's that serious.

I wore these boots every night of the fest (whereas I used to have to rotate different pairs of shoes to prevent foot pains) and I was able to clock 20k-30k steps a night with relative ease. They were incredibly comfortable, supportive for walking over rocks and uneven paths, and the waterproof quality was so helpful. It has definitely helped with my hiker's knee pain! The only time my feet ever hurt in these shoes was after dancing for 6+ hours straight, and that was just my feet being doggone tired not the actual shoes.

I also took them hiking after the festival to test it in the forest and they worked out great. I'll never go back to Hokas!
