Rooted in minimalist design principles and built for those who live on their feet, the Summit Pro redefines what a rugged leather boot can be. Developed in collaboration with YouTuber and leather artisan Weston Kay of Rose Anvil, this project began as a shared vision to evolve the beloved Boulder Boot into something tougher, more heritage-inspired, and trail-ready while staying true to our signature lightweight, flexible comfort.

A longtime fan who’s tried nearly every Lems style, Weston first discovered the brand through the original Boulder Boot, which quickly became his go-to boot in the shop for its comfort and versatility. Known for cutting boots in half on his channel to expose their craftsmanship, he brought that same analytical eye to the design process, helping shape what would become the Summit Pro.

Working closely with Lems founder Andrew Rademacher over the course of a year and a half, Weston helped fine-tune key elements of the design, lending his craftsman’s perspective to create Lems’ first unlined leather boot. Every detail, from construction to color, was chosen with purpose, merging our commitment to natural movement with Weston’s appreciation for rugged, heritage-quality materials. As Weston puts it, “We went back and forth for over a year to refine every detail and how to make the Boulder Boot tougher, more heritage, and ready for the trail.”

Crafted from premium full-grain water resistant leather, the Summit Pro delivers lasting durability and comfort that only gets better with wear. The Vibram® Megagrip outsole provides exceptional traction and longevity, while classic moc-toe stitching nods to timeless workwear aesthetics. Each of the first 2,500 pairs includes a custom leather hangtag handmade by Weston.

We recommend ordering your usual EU size.

If you’re unsure, please use the cm guide above.

Important: the insole length should be slightly longer than your foot — around 1 cm of extra space for natural movement.

For example: If your foot measures 25 cm, choose an insole length of approximately 26 cm.

    Exceeds Expectation

I couldn't be happier with these boots. They are well built, insanely comfortable and look damn good with jeans. The leather liner is outstanding and there was no break-in period. I typically wear a 12, but the 11.5 fit perfectly, so they might run a smidge large, but make sure and check all the data points as I may be the anomaly. I will keep buying these boots as long as they are available.

    Cool boot

Great style and different from any other boot I’ve bought for casual or outdoor . Worth giving a try.

First Impressions-good but could be better

The boots are comfortable as soon as you slip them on. They are very light. The shoe fits true to size for narrow‑to‑medium‑sized feet; if you have wide feet or plan on wearing thick socks, you may want to go up a half size. For some perspective, I’m a size 9 and ordered these in a 9. I have the Lems Chillum and Lems Waterproof Chelsea in a 9.5.

It’s nice that Lems has finally made a leather‑lined shoe. However, for the price I would want a stitched sole. A stitched sole would increase the durability and make it easily repairable by a cobbler. I’m also not a fan of the visible Vibram logo. I think the shoe would look better in a darker brown, but from some of the reviews it seems some people darkened it with boot oil and it looks much better. I know some people are upset about the lack of speed hooks, so I ordered 63‑inch elastic laces and hopefully that will work out. The shoe also came with some minor black scuffs, but it wasn’t enough of an issue for me to return it.

I imagine if you're considering this boot you are also considering the Jim Green Barefoot Moc Toe boots. I preordered the Barefoot Meander Moc Toe and returned it, there was too much volume (but that may be remedied by an insole). So if you have narrow to medium sized feet: Lems Moc Toe > Jim Green. Durability & repairability: Jim Green > Lems. Comfort: Lems > Jim Green. This is subjective but looks: Jim Green > Lems.
