Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING
The rugged, full rubber outsole incorporates deep lugs for enhanced traction on various surfaces. The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

Possibly the best Chelsea boots I’ve ever owned
Very happy with these. Loved the inclusion of the inner soles option. Love the two loops for ease of putting on. Love the colour and texture. Lems should do a burgundy version. I’d buy them too. The only aspect that isn’t great is that the area of the front upper leather leading up towards the shin, is taking a long time to break in and is uncomfortable as it feels too tight. Otherwise these boots fit perfectly and I love that they’re waterproof. Good work Lems! Cheers

Love the fit!
I purchased these Chelsea boots for winter wear, so have not actually worn them other than around the house to check the fit. These are my first pair of Lems of any style so I went by the fit guide and reviews of other shoppers to select my size. They fit perfectly! Plenty of room in the toe box and a good fit in the heel as well. They are comfortable right out of the box and seem to be reasonably flexible considering the type of sole they have. I live in the great Pacific Northwest, so I'm planning on these being my go-to winter boots. It is hard to find a decent barefoot style shoe or boot with a sole that is flexible enough to be comfortable and thick enough to protect my feet from very cold ground. Hope these are just right.
