Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Super comfortable. Too soon to predict durability.
Like I said in the title. The core footbed compromises the barefoot feel a little but it’s removable.

Yes! Barefoot boots
I've been doing the barefoot shoes for a few years now. And everybody's starting to catch on. And now I've got some good boots. Lems, have been my go to you for the last couple years. Need to upsize half size on these though.

Best boot ever. Period.
Growing up wearing Justin Roper boots, I had no idea how much I suffered till I tried these. Granted, not a cowboy boot. But a far more functional boot! Ten years wearing wide toe box shoes had made me appreciate the comfort and style of these. Have had this pair for 6+ years and still my go to boot for anytime cool temps or wet weather warrant. Treated with sno seal every year and have never had a leak. Functional work boot by day and dust then off for more casual wear that same evening. I bought a new pair 2 years ago to ensure I had a backup when these eventually wear out. Those are still in the box! These boots, the brown 9-5 shoes, and the Zen shoes are all I need.
