Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

One of THE most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned and worn!
I'll be getting another pair of these for sure. The only complaint i have is that i had to try different lacing methods on my left foot specifically because the gusset of the tongue was digging into my ankle... It was a VERY minor issue and i LOVE the boots! I also added an insole because these boots are very roomy and i had trouble getting them as tight as i like them.

Really good for cold weather
Ok I love the sole and leather, but they are a soggy mess unless it's really cold! My foot's moisture gets trapped by the waterproof barrier and the whole boot becomes a soup :/
I was desperate about to go on a trip and didn't have time to wait for the non waterproof versions to get back in stock. So I guess I have a dead of winter only boots now.

My second pair!
After having my first pair for over 1.5 years, I not only had the first pair reconditioned and repaired (very slightly), I also ordered a second pair. These boots feel worn in from day 1 and I will not buy another boot so long as the quality of these boots continues strong! I've never taken a pair of boots to a cobbler before to give them even more life, but these boots are well worth the initial cost and having them reconditioned and repaired for even more life. Thank you, Lems, for such a fantastic boot. If my feet could talk, they would thank you.
