    Amazing Shoes

    Best outdoor recreation shoe!

    Everything I've ever wanted in a shoe. It has the vibram soles and aggressive lugs for traction on all types of terrain, it has the waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry, and the wide toe box!!     A More Capable Lems for Bike Patrol

    I purchased the men’s Trail Thrasher Pro Waterproof in size 13 specifically for bike patrol. I’m a police officer working primarily on a large university campus, so I needed something that could handle several hours on a bike while still being comfortable enough for walking and normal patrol duties.

    For context, I probably own nine pairs of Lems at this point. I’m a huge believer in what the company is doing, and I’ve recommended their shoes to a number of people who ended up buying their own and becoming fans themselves. So I came into the Trail Thrasher Pro with pretty high expectations.

    I had previously tried the Primal 3 for bike patrol and really liked the comfort and roomy toe box, but the sole was simply too flexible for mountain biking. The Trail Thrasher Pro is definitely a more substantial shoe. It’s heavier, uses more leather, and the Vibram sole provides the stiffness and support I was looking for on the pedals.

    After roughly ten bike patrol shifts, I’m still breaking them in. They are definitely a little chunky, both in how they feel and how they look, especially compared with some of the other Lems models I own. I’ve also developed some hot spots around my little toe, and they don’t seem to have quite the same toe-box room that I’ve come to expect from Lems. The laces are also a little shorter than I’d prefer.

    On the positive side, construction feels very solid, the outsole is much better suited to bike patrol, and I really like the colorway. They feel like…
