Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Not my favorite Lems
I wanted to like this shoe a little more than I actually do. The fit is a little narrow in the toe box for my liking and it's not as comfortable as my others (not Chillums) for all day wear. Still, it's not awful I love the look and the quality. Customer service was really great. After initially ordering a size too small the exchange was easy and fast and within a week I had the new pair. I really appreciate the ease of the return!

Still great shoes!
My first pair of lems were chillums in green and these are just as high-quality as my first ones! Really great, comfortable shoes. I wear a lot of barefoot shoes and these are good for when I've stepped on a rock and need some extra cushion for a while, but still want flexibility and room for my toes! The only thing I would add is that as my feet have gotten wider since I started wearing wide toe box shoes, I would love it if Lems made an extra-wide version of their shoes, wider than the "widest".

Most comfortable shoe!
I took the Chilliums on a trip this past month and they are the most comfortable shoe! Very little break in time and no problems. I will order more.
