The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

Honestly wish I had gotten these years ago, very sneaker-like, great for everyday wear
Honestly my mind was blown when I got these. Granted I havent actually used them for hiking yet and just worn them into work because they're so darn comfortable, feels like wearing comfy slippers into work.
They are light and great for everyday wear especially because they have that nice sneaker look and not a big chunky boot. I held out buying for years due to the price but when I got them on BF sale I wished I had gotten them years ago.
I was really really anxious about the sizing because I didn't want to pay return shipping (really wish you guys offered complimentary return shipping, at least on one pair) but thankfully I didn't have to bother because the sizing was dead perfect with my usual tennis shoe size.
