Rooted in minimalist design principles and built for those who live on their feet, the Summit Pro redefines what a rugged leather boot can be. The project began as a vision to evolve the beloved Boulder Boot into something tougher, more heritage-inspired, and trail-ready while staying true to our signature lightweight, flexible comfort.

Developed over the course of a year and a half under Lems founder Andrew Rademacher, the Summit Pro is Lems’ first unlined leather boot. Every element of the design was fine-tuned with a craftsman’s eye, and every detail, from construction to color, was chosen with purpose, merging our commitment to natural movement with an appreciation for rugged, heritage-quality materials.

    Summit pro boot

    This is my second pair of boots from Lems and now becoming my favorite. The Boulder boot grip is great but I'm not a big fan of the speed hooks. Though both boots have a wide toe box the summit pro has the widest last and it's fits great for my wife feet. They look great with jeans and chinos and offer enough comfort to be worn daily. I'm highly satisfied with this purchase and will continue buying from this brand.

    Almost perfect...

    I have a feeling that the leather models run a bit larger. I own the Chillum in both canvas and leather, and the leather version is slightly bigger. Because of that, these are just a tiny bit too long for me.

    There are two things I would change:

    – I’d prefer speed hooks instead of the two top eyelets.

    – And it doesn’t make much sense to make shoes this high if they aren’t waterproof above more than about two inches. This is because the tongue is sewn in very low, just like in regular shoes, not in proper ankle‑high boots. It doesn’t match the way they’re advertised as outdoor‑ready footwear — one deeper puddle and your feet are wet.

    That said, it doesn’t change the fact that I haven’t bought any other shoes than Lems for the past three years, simply because they’re the best. Super comfortable and excellent quality. I really love the cork insoles! And my next pair will also be Lems…

    Well… I guess there’s no turning back now :)

    Outstanding comfort and support

    Extremely comfortable boot that can hold up to the rigors of outdoor use. I have a pair of Boulder boots with the Injection Blown Rubber outsoles, which are equally comfortable, but the Vibram soles that were utilized in this Summit Pro Boot boosts the outdoor use capabilities dramatically. I really enjoy the wide toe box, overall fit, and construction materials and I can highy recommend these boots. Sizing note: I typically wear a Size 10 boot, sometimes a size 9.5 in some boot brands, but I needed to purchase a size 10.5 in these boots.
