Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Great for Grandma: Neuropathy / Swelling
My grandmother has neuropathy along with numerous spinal injuries, and periodic swelling in her legs and feet. The family brought so many shoes for her to try - she’s with large cushioned souls. She said they were soft on her heal but made her feel like she was walking on a boat, or we simply couldn’t get them on when her feet were swollen. I recommended barefoot shoes, she tried on Lems, and she has since told the whole family how comfortable they are. She was also shocked with how much space there was for her toes, and how a lifetime of pointed shoes had curved her feet. The materials also allow them to loosen easily on days her feet are swollen, and tighten in days they are not. She is very happy, balanced, and able to walk further. She has only had them a few weeks and worn them out twice, my only concern is that the materials last to constitute the cost, but so far, very please. I can’t comment on the sizing because we always buy larger for her due to the swelling, but generally seem to be true to size.

I absolutely love this shoe!
It’s the most comfortable shoe I own . It never hurts my feet where all others do. I ordered a second pair as a backup and also ordered it in vanilla, black & navy.

Love these
These are my first pair of Lem's though I've had my eye on them for months. The olive green color is perfect....they look great on and not as obvious as other barefoot shoes. Very comfortable. Customer service was great, I ordered a half size too big at first and they let me order the size smaller at the same sale price. Very helpful!
