Mujer Boulder Summit Impermeable

My first pair of Lems was the Women's Kourt 8.5. For the Women's Boulder Summit Waterproof boot, I tried on both the 8.5 and the 9, and ultimately decided on the 8.5 because it was the most versatile with all sock thicknesses I plan to wear. I’m hoping to wear these camping, hiking, but also to my business-casual office environment in central KY, where we experience temps to 0F, not a ton of snow, but plenty of precipitation that turns to ice overnight. I'll be wearing socks anywhere from everyday fashion socks to thick wool socks.

If I were only using these for cold weather and thick socks, I would have chosen the size 9, but since I’m using these for many different purposes, the 8.5 was a better choice.

They fit well with enough room to wear toe spacers when I wear thinner socks.

They are more casual than a Chelsea boot, so they won’t look great with my dresses or nicer office-ware, but the Lems Chelsea boot didn’t work well for me.

I appreciate the thicker sole while maintaining the zero drop. I started my zero drop transition with my Kourts a few months ago (thinner sole) and am still acclimating, so a thicker sole to rotate to is a nice change.

I had a pair of these that were size 8 and too small as my toes would hit the front of the shoe and cause pain. I gave those to a friend and ordered a sizd 8.5. They are really so much bigger. They seem to work Ok.....at least my toes are not in danger of hitting the front. I'm hoping as I wear them in it will be easier to tighten the laces to hold in my foot. I do wish you would come down a little in price. But they are good shoes and my feet dont hurt when I wear then. Thank you for making a quality product.
