So comfortable!
I am in between a 7.5 and 8 so I was nervous to keep the 8s as they are a little loose. I kept them an they had zero break in time and are so comfortable, I don't want to wear any other shoes!

Nice boots, but the sole is a bit too thick and rigid for my liking
Overall, I like these. They have a nice wide toe box (appreciably wider than the other versions of the Boulder boot), are indeed waterproof so far, and have nice traction on the outsole. They also keep my feet warm in cold weather. I used the Lem's sizing chart to pick a size and the fit is good. However, the sole is thicker and more rigid than I would like. As a new wearer of barefoot shoes and also a farmer, I thought this would be a beneficial feature, that these boots would be a helpful transitional shoe that would give me some of the benefits of barefoot shoes but still cushion and support my feet on uneven ground. However, after a few weeks I've noticed that I prefer shoes with a thinner and more flexible sole than these have. Something about having all that sole underfoot encourages me to plonk my feet down harder in a way I didn't really expect, and sometimes I think I have more foot pain wearing these than I do in thinner-soled shoes. I might still keep them for winter wear or something, but in the meantime I am shopping around for boots with a thinner sole. I doubt I would readily recommend these to anyone unless they spent a lot of time on pavement.
