Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Fitting discrepancies
These are my second pair of Lems, my first were the Breck Boots which I ordered in size 12 (my usual foot size) and found them to be far too big, more like a 12.5 if not a 13. I wanted to try an everyday walking shoe so I decided to get the Primal Zens and figured I would order a 11.5 to have better fitting. Sad to find that these were too snug.
I understand different models can have different sizing fitments but the range was a bit odd for me.
Due to being a Canadian and the fact that shipment costs for exchanges are endured by the customer I’m not really seeing the justification to send them in for a replacement. Won’t likely buy another pair unfortunately unless perhaps exchange/return costs are revisited by Lems one day I suppose.

WOW what a show
I have been a barefoot show wearer for 5+ years now but recently moved to a city and needed something with a tad more cushion. Still wide toe box and midsole, still zero drop (I think), and gives me the exact amount of cushion for walking on cement all the time. (good note: I have a really wide midfoot and they fit)
AND THEY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE REAL SHOES!!!!
