Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.

Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Zero-Drop Platform

I love these but...
I love these boots but what I don't love is the interior of the boot. In a short time, there was quite a bit of wear in the heel/ankle area inside. I don't really wear these that much to warrant that amount of wear, especially when the outside of the boot looks about like the day I bought them.
Well, now that heel wear is quite literally through the whole interior to the outside leather. Some other innards of the boots are just hanging out, shredded. I'm not really sure what to do. I'm a bit handy and do some leather work and I'm thinking about glueing in a heel counter to just get by for a while but I'm also considering seeing if a cobbler can do anything, but the nearest one is an hour away.
I feel like the quality of the outside far exceeds the quality of the inside and that's disappointing. This isn't just a small hole here or there, it's just apparently a fabric/material quality issue inside. What is the point of a high quality sole and leather that would last 10 years when the inside can't last?

Traction and comfort!
This was my second pair of Lems Shoes and they are exactly as I expected. I mistakenly clicked the wrong size and had to return my first shipment; Lems had my exchange to me in 2 days!

Wish they were wider
I have very average width feet, but my toes still rub a bit in these. That said, they soles are comfortable and the fit is otherwise good. They also look great, so I'll give them a solid "most of the way there" rating.
