Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Love them
Was wearing Merrell trail glove. These fit better and are easier to find. Quality.
For my foot could use slightly less across the arch as I’ve gotten flatter feet over time. Great in every other way that’s important to me.

Finally a comfortable barefoot shoe
I've been a on a journey to flatter, more bare foot shoes for many years. I could never do fully flat/minimal shoes because of leg strength and not enough cushion for my knees. Fast forward to today, my leg/knee/foot strength is there but many minimalist shoes are like walking on concrete... too tough for my knees. This shoe is amazing in that its flat, wide, minimal/no arch support, but also comfortable! padded just barely enough.

Gamechanger, for sure!
So v3 is a winner, so much so my kids used them for track practice. That how good v3 is. Granted, a better outsole more fitting for that activity is warranted. My wife and I wear these all the time, from daily wear to the gym. Again, grip could be better for those type of activities and DO NOT try to do any intense HIIT with these like rope climbing as there's no grip whatsoever. Overall, the Primal 3 has exceeded expectations and will buy again...now, imagine these as track spikes or field cleats...
